My work experience

I am a graphic designer with extensive professional experience working across branding, editorial, digital, and cultural projects.

From 1995, I have led a creative studio in Rio de Janeiro, worked at agencies and as a freelancer in Paris, and collaborated with entrepreneurs as an independent designer in Miami, a journey that has given me a cross-cultural perspective that shapes how I approach design projects.

With a consistent focus on typography, color, composition, and visual storytelling, my work is developed using Adobe Creative Suite —Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop—, Squarespace, WIX, Canva, etc. I work between conceptual thinking and hands-on craft, and I care about the details as much as the big picture.

Over the years, I have collaborated with business leaders, creative agencies, cultural institutions, and international teams. Some highlights of my career include serving as Art Director and Team Coordinator for the Orbis Descriptio exhibition showcasing Anna Bella Geiger’s art work and the jewelry collection she designed for H.Stern in 2000; and working as Cultural Interface and Design Coordinator for the installation of the Amazônia Brasil exhibition at Palais de la Découverte in Paris in 2005. Earlier distinctions include a 1998 book cover design award granted by the Biblioteca Nacional in Brazil, participation in the Mostra Seletiva at the Brazilian Biennial Design Exhibition in 2000, and a postgraduate scholarship in packaging design for the Mercosur at Montevideo in partnership with Italy and Spain in 2001.

From 2007 onward, I balanced raising my children with family relocations to Ecuador and then to the United States while continuing with design work and exploring a significant expansion into wellness, herbalism, and environmental advocacy. During this period I worked with educators, wellness practitioners, and environmental organizations including Tropical Audubon Society, Village Montessori School, developing brand identities, websites, and digital tools.

An important part of my work today is design coaching: helping clients and their teams understand their own platforms well enough to update and manage them with confidence and autonomy across Wix, Squarespace, Canva, Square, and Shopify which may include setting up online shops and social media presence on Instagram and LinkedIn.

I’m fluent in English, Portuguese, French, Spanish, and Italian.

Today my work is well suited to two kinds of engagements: individuals launching or repositioning a business who need a thoughtful creative partner from the ground up, and agencies or creative teams looking for experienced design and strategy collaboration on specific projects.
